Ins and Outs of Crowdfunding (Manchester)

Nov 16, 2016 @ 12:00 pm - 1:30 pm

The world of crowdfunding has changed tremendously over the past decade, even during the past year! You’re not alone in wondering whether crowdfunding could be a good fit for your business, or whether it’s simply a distraction in growing your business.
Join us for a session on all things crowdfunding, including a review of the most popular platforms and when to use it for your business or nonprofit.
About the Instructors
Andrea O’Brien, Business Advisor and Director of Business Sustainability for the NH SBDC, helps NHSBDC clients form stronger companies by helping them identify areas of risk in their environmental/sustainability protocols and practices. Ultimately, she helps businesses refine their management practices to help the client achieve sustainable business operation. She has been with the NHSBDC for 15 years and has helped numerous small businesses and manufacturers identify management solutions through on-site assessments and training.
Jake Nonweiler, Program Director at the Hannah Grimes Center, is a trained Kiva Advisor and has been working to support and cultivate financing opportunities for businesses in New Hampshire. He hopes that crowdfunding will be an exciting opportunity for businesses that struggle to get financing elsewhere!
Scholarship Opportunities
The Hannah Grimes Center maintains a Scholarship Fund to ensure that all entrepreneurs and nonprofit leaders can access our programs. The Scholarship Fund is made possible by the Hoffman Family Foundation and Live Free and Start, who we thank for their support. A portion of all workshop fees is also put back into the Scholarship Fund.
Please contact the Hannah Grimes Center staff to apply for a scholarship for any of our programs.
