It’s never too late to learn the ins and outs of a proper Chart of Accounts and how it can affect your business. This is not an overly technical class about bookkeeping, but instead an instruction and baseline for how your books should be kept. This class will outline what a Chart of Accounts is, how to set up your accounts, how to add/subtract accounts, and how a properly structured COA can impact your decision-making. If you have a strong chart of accounts, it can save your tax preparer time, which as you may or may not know, will save you money. As always questions are encouraged and both newbies and seasoned veterans are welcome!

About Instructor:

Ashley Guion has nearly a decade of accounting experience both in private and public accounting. She has worked with a variety of clients through her work at a CPA and has heard it all. On top of being a CPA, she is also a Certified QuickBooks ProAdvisor with a Masters of Science in Accounting and a Bachelors in Business. Ashley is affiliated with the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the New Hampshire Society of Certified Public Accountants. She was an active member of Keene Young Professionals, and graduated from Leadership Monadnock in June 2018. She has coached field hockey at various levels at Monadnock Regional and loves to work with kids. She currently serves on the Board at Rise for Baby and Family. In her free time, what little of it there is, she publishes children’s picture books and enjoys reading, sports, and spending time with her family.
