Workshop: Getting Your Board on Board with Fundraising
May 26, 2016 @ 8:30 am - 11:30 am
About the Workshop:
The Association of Fundraising Professionals – Northern New England and the Marlboro College Center for New Leadership are proud to present a breakfast plenary workshop.
Do you wish your board were more engaged in fundraising for your organization? This workshop will help you engage, inspire (and alleviate the fundraising fears of ) your board with tools and activities that explore the following topics:
- The development plan: Building an annual calendar of activity
- The board’s role: Why is fundraising a board responsibility anyway?
- The cycle of fundraising: Roles for board members (not everyone has to ‘do the ask’)
- Engaging with donors: Listening and telling your story
