CONNECT 2017: Main Street 2.0

Nov 7, 2017 @ 5:30 pm - 7:30 pm

The Hannah Grimes Center, The Keene Sentinel and Machina Arts are bringing Main Street inside as the perfect backdrop for the GREAT music, ENERGIZED networking, INNOVATIVE ideas, DELICIOUS local food, drinks and much more!!!

Tuesday, November 7th from 5:30pm-7:30pm!

Don’t miss out… Over 400 people attended last year and we expect tickets to sell out!

What is the Main Street that you want to see?  What ideas do you have for our Main Street?  Leave inspired by new ideas that will lead to exciting innovation!

This year’s keynote speaker will be Greg Tehven (or Greg from Fargo).  Greg is well known for his people and place based approach to building the community you want to live in.  Keeping with that theme, since our Idea Jam in May, a dozen teams have been preparing interactive Installations of their ideas for downtown in hopes that these ideas will take root, grow and multiply!

Main Street as a Pedestrian Mall | A Biotech Lab Downtown | Keene as an Offbeat Conference Center | A Re-Use Hub | Sculpture Art Walk | Keene as the Solar Capital of NH | Neighborhood Branding | Empty Spaces Project | Model of Solar Panels |YOUR IDEA?

Celebrate one of the quiet architects of our Main Street and our community, Jack Dugan, MEDC, as Entrepreneur of the Yea.  Presenting the award is Taylor Caswell, first Commissioner of the new Bureau of Economic Affairs.

Plus… Get a sneak peak of Green Energy Option’s NEW retail building on 37 Roxbury Street, our event venue, slated to open in 2018.
