Agile Project Management Two-Day Training

May 15, 2018 @ 9:00 am - 4:00 pm

Agile project management is a proven method that is designed for high-uncertainty projects. For example, Agile is appropriate for projects where the requirements may be changing or the tools may be new.

Agile was developed for software but today these techniques are applied to a wide range of projects, from information technology to non-profit strategy development and from manufacturing to education. The focus is on empowering teams to collaborate and make decisions quickly and effectively.

This workshop in Agile Project Management consists of two six-hour sessions during which attendees work on their own real projects and leave with a plan that’s tailored for their company and ready for use.

  • Day One teaches how to select the best projects for the company and quickly determine the boundaries of the project’s scope. Attendees write project charters suitable for sharing with stakeholders, and learn the Scrum methodology.
  • Day Two teaches how to assess the risks and lay out the roadmap of specific project work by writing Agile User Stories, so that attendees leave ready to work with their teams.

The workshop will held on May 15 and 16, from 9 AM – 4 PM. Both days are required. While lunch is not provided, there is a lunch break and participants are encouraged to visit downtown Keene’s many restaurants. The cost is $895 per person.

Ideally, organizations send intact teams to this training so that they can develop the project together. However, individuals are welcome to attend. Please submit a short project description with your registration to programs@hannahgrimes.com with the subject line:” Agile PM Project Description.”
