$2,500 Small Business COVID Grant Program for New Hampshire Small Businesses
To help small businesses throughout the Monadnock Region adapt to the economic realities of COVID and prepare themselves to grow and thrive in the post-pandemic economy, the Hannah Grimes Center for Entrepreneurship is offering $2,500 one-time grants for up to 50 small businesses in the Monadnock Region. (**If you live outside of the Monadnock Region see below for other Service Providers**)
Hannah Grimes’ Small Business COVID Grant Program* helps provide hope, resiliency, and an injection of much-needed capital for our small businesses and our community during these unprecedented times.
Allowable Uses of Grant Funds
Qualifying businesses may use the Small Business COVID Grant funds for an expense or a need that has developed as a result of the pandemic. Funds will be used in covering costs “to prepare to, respond to, or recover from the COVID-19 pandemic,” including:
- Working Capital
- Equipment Purchases
- Operating Expenses
Grant Eligibility
This program is for micro-enterprise businesses (Fewer than 5 full-time employees) that are low-to-moderate-income. Federal grant guidelines require that businesses be eligible based on the household income of the business owner(s). Eligibility is quite broad and is based on the size of your household, so don’t assume that you do not qualify!
Next Steps to Determine Initial Eligibility
We will work with you every step of the way to get to the end goal of supporting your business with these grant funds!
Act Now!
Grant applications will be reviewed and funding awarded on a rolling basis, as they are submitted to Hannah Grimes. When 50 eligible businesses have presented proposals outlining an allowable use of the funds and projects have been approved for the $2,500 Small Business COVID Grant, the program will end.
