Keene, NH – During the past year the Hannah Grimes Center has moved its Business Incubator Program and its administrative offices from the top floor to newly renovated spaces on the first floor at its 25 Roxbury Street location.
“Finding a productive, community-oriented use for the former incubator space on the top floor was really pretty easy” said Mary Ann Kristiansen, Executive Director of the Hannah Grimes Center.
The entire floor, accessible from the Roxbury Street side of the building, has been designated to help regional nonprofit organizations grow and develop. According to Kristiansen, the nonprofit sector makes up over 15 percent of New Hampshire’s economy, in terms of both jobs and state GDP. “That means that nonprofit organizations are significant contributors to our local economy and important resources in the community.
The Hannah Grimes Center for Nonprofits helps nonprofits grow and fully realize their missions. The Center offers flexible private and shared office space; support services; business development and educational opportunities; and a professional, peer-based work environment.”
The Hannah Grimes Center for Nonprofits works in collaboration with Giving Monadnock and provides an affordable and convenient packaged approach. In addition to office space, the Center offers high speed internet (wired and wireless); a conference room; networked multi-function copy and fax machine; 24/7 secure access to offices; kitchenette; convenient downtown location; professional networking opportunities; and collaboration with like-minded nonprofit leaders.
“It’s an ideal space for starting, growing, or evolving a nonprofit. All the resources are there for you and your organization, it’s inexpensive, and the peer networking opportunities are terrific” added Kristiansen.
