The Hannah Grimes Center will offer a two-hour workshop on Wednesday, July 22, 2009, 10am - noon, to help individuals determine if starting a small business is the right thing for them. This workshop will discuss the four critical areas of awareness needed before you start planning your business and how to negotiate your first steps.
Research by the Kauffman Foundation for Entrepreneurship suggests that 10.1 million entrepreneurs are attempting to put 5.6 million new firms in place at any given time in the US. As a potential new business owner - you need a firm foundation upon which to make your decisions and a clear detailed path to success. Research also shows that entrepreneurs who take advantage of this type of assistance have a greater likelihood of success than those who do not.
The cost is $15 and registration is limited to six participants. To register: http://www.hannahgrimes.com/civicrm/event/info?reset=1&id=190. This workshop is sponsored by Ocean Bank.
