Hannah Grimes Marketplace & Hannah Grimes Center's Community Projects

Hannah Grimes Marketplace

Hannah Grimes is a catalyst for making locally crafted and grown products the heart of our economy and daily life.  Focusing on the key aspects of a market - buyers, sellers, and the channels that connect them - we are working to ensure that the buying and selling of local products will once again be deeply rooted as a way of life for the people of this region.  By providing a thriving marketplace for local products, Hannah Grimes promotes economic development that builds on a region’s heritage, arts, culture, natural and human resources, creativity and entrepreneurial spirit.

Made locally, made in New Hampshire.  Weaving together business, local economy, and community.

Monadnock Angel Investors

Private seed capital investing is the primary source of seed and start-up funding for emerging high growth ventures. Estimates suggest that the demand for patient, high risk oriented private equity capital is more than twice as large as the current available pool of venture capital funds. The Monadnock Angel Investors Group, supported by the New Hampshire Small Business Development Center and the Hannah Grimes Center, will be a source of that patient capital for the region’s businesses and a place for area private investors to identify quality investment opportunities. Giving Monadnock

Giving Monadnock has a simple but profound vision: to enhance the level and effectiveness of philanthropic giving and to empower nonprofit organizations to thrive in our region. Our mission is to strengthen the Monadnock community by improving the effectiveness of nonprofit organizations and promoting a spirit of giving. We accomplish this by training leaders of nonprofit organizations to be more effective, raising public awareness of the vital roles performed by nonprofit organizations, and convening members of the nonprofit community to encourage shared learning, collaboration and growth of the sector as a whole.
